It's finally happened. The moment I've been waiting and aching for for over 2 years. I am almost 15 weeks pregnant today. It's nothing like I expected. I thought I would feel this immense relief...instead, I'm plagues by worry almost more debilitating than when I thought I'd never achieve my goal. As each day goes by, I get a little more comfortable, but I cannot wait until I'm finally able to breathe a sigh of relief and enjoy my good fortune. I feel I'll be able to settle down after my 18 week ultrasound scan, so I'm just keeping my fingers and toes crossed until then.
On a totally different note, I miss alcoholic beverages a lot more than I thought I would!! :) Went out dancing last night, and dancing stone cold sober pales in comparison to shaking your booty on the floor after 5 or 6 cocktails! I promised myself I wouldn't complain one step of the way, and so far I've lived up to that. We'll see how long I last....
